Welcome to Palo Alto

Palo Alto, California is known by many names including “Startup Central”, “Tree City”, “Stanford’s Backyard”, and the "Birthplace of Silicon Valley," and with good reason. Incorporated in 1894, this city is the proud home of Stanford University, which has played a pivotal role in shaping the tech-driven landscape of the region. Hewlett-Packard was founded here in 1939 in a garage on Addison Avenue by two electrical engineering graduates from Stanford. In the many years since then, Palo Alto has maintained its position as a key city in Silicon Valley, hosting the current headquarters of leading tech companies such as HP, VMware, Space Systems/Loral, and PARC. It has also been the birthplace or early home for renowned firms like Apple, Google, Facebook, Logitech, Tesla, Intuit, IDEO, Pinterest, and PayPal. Yes—all those companies in one place!

Palo Alto is actually where I first started my real estate career. My first real estate office was in Palo Alto and I still have fond memories of those early days hustling and building my real estate business. After many Palo Alto homes bought and many Palo Alto homes sold, I still enjoy helping clients make their real estate dreams come true in Palo Alto! Can you believe that it has been almost 40 years?
